That's peaceful...
I'm very pro-gay, and I'm offended by homophobic comments. But sometimes, they start insightful discussion (rarely, though.) So take each post with a grain of salt, and try education and reason with people like that.
I think the homophobic blogs bring light to the greater presense of homophobia in society that needs to be addressed. It is the duty of the sane minded among us to counter homophobic arguements when they pop up in rational and reasonable ways. Just like it is our duty to counter sexist, racist, and other bigoted and hurtful rhetoric with sound reasoning.
I think the homophobic blogs are important for people on either side of the arguement to read. I am very much for all sexual orientations, but reading an anti-gay blog post is interesting. Although I often become irritable and frustrated for a few hours, after that I realize it is important to see the other side of the story, so I can better understand my own side.
I've been reading some of the other related posts, and I'm starting to become stuck in the middle. There's a certain point where the posts become abusive, but I think that some of the homophobes could actually see how ridiculous they actually are. I used to be a gay-hater, until someone made some arguments that helped me to realize how stupid my logic really was.

Check it out...it's a work in progress.
Props for being able to change your opinion. It is VERY hard to accept that your thinking might have been wrong, flawed, or in error. I know it is something I struggle with all the time. That's impressive!
