Well, isn't that right?
With gas prices so high nowadays, everyone is trying to save some money. Limiting trips to the mall and carpooling are just slight tactics to delay the inevitable money-draining-gas-company monsters! However, these strategies are getting dirtier.
Difficult Dilemma: How to save money whilst acquiring the luxury of gas?
Simple solution: Steal Gas!
Although it's morally wrong and very illegal, it's quite genius actually! Pop the gas cover of a car that uses the gas you want (Make sure the car is really old or has no alarm!), pump out the gas into some kind of container, and tra-la! Gas with no $45~$60 receipt! And for those who don't care to be anymore obvious, just hook up the other side of the pump to your car, pump out the gas, and... on the spot tra-la, a new tank of gas! Really, this is genius. HOWEVER, I am not encouraging this. In fact, I'm not even the genius to come up with this.
So, if I'm not the genius, who is?
Answer: The thief who stole my neighbor's gas.
Of course, when I first heard of what happened to him, I was shocked. Money can make people do anything. And to save money, people will break as many laws possible. To know that someone, and many other someone's (Apparently my neighbor's thief isn't the only one in this business, it's on the news. Crimesters are bandwagoning.) , out there will go this far to get gas 'to save money' is, frankly, depressing.
But, then I laughed. This is ridiculous, yet hilarious! My neighbor complained that he had just pumped his gas the night before. The next morning, his tank was completely empty. Knowing that neither he nor his wife used the car after coming home the night before, it was clear to conclude: his gas was stolen!
Now, someone out there is driving around in a "free" tank of gas.
It's morally wrong! Illegal! Ridiculous! Hilarious! ..and Genius!
Um. How is this Genius! ?
Duh. It saves you money. Another Duh. Great excercise and adrenaline rush.
Triple Duh. This is what the govenment wants! See how ridiculous the control of gas is? Morality is no longer a figment of reasoning if one can get "cheaper" gas. What the government tells us about War in Iraq, Iran, etc. is an illusion to deceive the public from realizing the war at home. The war on the streets. The war with your neighbors.
So, the downhill of society begins...

how much is gas where you live. Here its still mostly reasonable $2.47-.49. I don't think this is quite the downfall of socity. There is stil hope. Mybe they will legelize golf carts on public roads. That will free up gas for highway driving. Getting your fruits and vegetables in your garden or a farmers market or Meijers(meijers buys local goods whenever available) will cut down on shipping and trucking gas. Solar power is a little complecated yet but power companies are getting green power.
If you need money for gas mybe you should plan on spending less on something else. Like I have a house so this year I am growing all our food in a garden and only buying meat and pasta and mushroom soup in the store. There are seeds on e-bay, and even a college student could have a contaner garden. Cherry Tomtoes grow really well in a dorm room in a largish pot. Good luck and good bye.

GO ME----Plant A TREE !!!!!
Someone started stealing gas a couple weeks ago from my dad's car, well that's when we noticed it.
That tops my "stealing meat" idea.

Just yesterday, a woman attempted to carjack my mom's van because she was a druggie who didn't have money to pay for gas for her car.
It's not funny, but in way it is...
Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.

People are crazy.
Hope your mom didn't get hurt.
I'm broke and will probably have to take up another job to make fall tuition, should I steal money because tuition is always increasing? Instead of not being able to go to the mall (OH NO!!! how depressing is that!), shop online. CARPOOL and if you're lucky enough to live in a city that has a good public transportation system, use it.
This post did make me laugh though. Your poor neighbor, if I would of went outside to hear my neighbor say that he just filled his car up and now its all gone I think I would make the oh face and then try not to laugh.
Hahahah!!! stealing gas, wow...
personality, i think carpooling will be a better choice. I mean..what if the gas isnt the right type of gas for the thief's car. Instead of "stealing/saving" money, the thief might actually create problems with his/her own car, resulting in spending more money to fix it.
