Thora Institute says that Black progress is one of America's best kept secrets. And the main reason for this, noted Thora, is misleading comparisons of Blacks and Whites.
"Many black leaders and intellectuals are getting it wrong in their assessments of black America. They are assessing blacks based on misleading comparisons with whites. If blacks are not achieving at the same level as whites they then conclude that something is wrong with blacks."

Thora Institute publications are geared toward refuting popular misconceptions about blacks and toward educating the public about the benefits of progressive public policy for blacks.
