Do you guys think going to the war in Iraq was a good idea? There are many reasons why people believe that people went into the Iraq war. There was the threat of nuclear weapons, some say that it is for oil, others say it to spread the great democracy to them, or all the other reasons out there. With all the deaths in Iraq many United States citizens are getting tired and weary of having their soldiers continually lose their lives in the war. Why are we still in the war, is our government trying to push democracy to the people? But what if the citizens do not want democracy, has our government ever asked the people of Iraq what they want. Even if we do solve their problems then leave the country of Iraq, will all the radicals be annihilated so that they do not start conflicts once again? In my opinion it seems that the problems in Iraq are close to unsolvable, if we the United States continues to interfere with there problems will there government ever be strong enough to support itself when we are gone. Can the military fend it self after we decided to withdraw out troops from Iraq???
