CosmoGIRLS are always looked at as pretty and quirky young women in today’s society, and it’s about time a new type of CosmGIRL is introduced. One that is cute, spunky, academically accomplished, and athletic, and here I am. My name is Ashley Murray and I attend Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High and I’m 17 years old. I am a dedicated soccer player and an academic achiever. I am on my school’s varsity soccer team as well as South Kendall Soccer Club of which I am the starting defender. I have received numerous soccer awards such as Best Defender and Varsity Level Achievement. I am enrolled in college level courses and am currently taking all honors classes.
I also give back to my community of which I am most grateful. I have volunteered over 100 hours of community service towards Abstinence Between Strong Teens, Inc. There I helped organized the office, completed data entry, answered phones, and received/sent faxes. At that organization I gained a plethora of hands on experience in the business world. I was working with real people and was introduced to how the world really works. I worked with kids and helped plan a trip to Rapids Water park for all the kids who participated in previous activities. I had fun while gaining experience and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
I have received academic honors as well as athletic recognition, but like many girls my age I love to have fun. I admire many wonderful women before me who have time to work and play which is what I do daily. After I complete my homework, I get ready and go fraternize with my friends. We go to school hosted parties and attend local night clubs as well as go on party boats. My friends and I always do all our homework and extracurricular activities together. We love attending the movies, going to ice skating arenas, and going to the mall.

What is "cute"? Why is "cute" necessary?
When I wrote that I was trying to appeal to a cosmo reader.
Um, but this is ProU, not Cosmo.
Ok I understand that, but I'm entitled to write of what I want, how I want ,and to address whatever audience I feel like addressing, as are you.
Thanks
Why so aggressive? I simply suggested you aim your writing at the ProU audience, since this is where you're posting it. Otherwise you're just posting filler.
And how does all of this affect us?
Or relate to the world :-)
