I am all for animal rights but sometimes I think it can be taken a little far.
This weekend I went to the Taste of Chaos tour. When waiting in line PETA was asking people to sign a petition. Supposidly KFC treats there chicken like crap. The one thing I remember is that supposidly the chickens get boiled alive.
It wouldn't have been so bad except that not only were they there Friday night but they were also there Saturday and not only while we were waiting but also inside the concert.
I'm all for getting your word out and trying to inform people about your cause but I think maybe they were just there to get signatures. They knew the type of people that would be at the concert. If it would have been a country concert they wouldn't have been there. Also I think PETA takes things too far and for weird things.
If you really want to help animals save your dogs from the pound or a shelter and not buy your dog from a pet store like Petland. Why because Petland gets there dogs from puppy mills, which are places where mothers are kept in a cage and basically there whole reason for living is breeding. The puppies are sick and sometimes inbred. Why isn't PETA doing anything about this?

PETA tries to do their best about every animal cruelty situation. I signed up for their mailing list and every so often I get emails from them. As annoying as their tactics are, the truth is, they work.
