There are many questions in America from people wondering of this country is going to go into a recession. With the stock market lowering, and minimum wage constantly rising there is a possiblity with America going into a recession.
Many people are struggeling to keep their jobs right now, many people are being laid off of work because with minimum wage going up, people can't work because the owners cannot pay for both employees and their product. As this happens not only do people lose their jobs, but they can't get a different job because all other jobs are doing the same.
Both parents of mine say that if America was to go into a recession than both would lose their jobs. My mother, Kippy, who is an assistant, would not be needed because the owners could go in and do the jobs theirself if they had to. My father, Kirt, is a mill worker, during recession, the country shuts down all mills. No need for lumber during recession, things are not being built durning this time (Fox 2008).
While there has been many drops from before, many economists believe that if America was to go into a recession could hurt the economy. At this moment there is a housing recession in America as we speak. Many houses are going up, being put for sale but none are being sold. Many people are unable to afford their houses anymore, so they are going into apartments, or renting, but no body seems to be willing to buy their own house (business.timesonline.co.uk).
While there are many problems going on in America, there is a possibility that this country can save itself from going into recession. It's happened once before, if people look into it and figure out how to prevent it, then there is a possibility to help this country and many people in this country from losing their jobs.
Recession; How is it Effecting America

We have a few more months until we're officially in a recession (it takes six months), so we have some time. Basically, if the economic stimulus works (the government sending people money) then we can avoid a recession, but I doubt that.
