Essay:

Who has had the greatest impact on my life? That is a very simple answer for me! It is the people in my Church-family. They are a collective group of people who I can and have received advice on dating, career, school and friendships. My church-family comprise of people who have become surrogate brothers, sisters, mothers, & fathers. Many of whom I have given specific permission to tell me when I am making an unwise decision that may lead me to disasters. Are they perfect, no; do I always get good advice, no. But, I know that over the last 9 years that I have been going to my church, I have been more prepared in the decisions that I have made for my life. I have been taught how to serve others and not just myself, and my life has had the greatest impact on others, due to the impact of my Church-family in my life.
