It seems as though every Presidential race has become a vote for the lesser of two evils, rather than trying to vote the right person into office. Every President has had complaints made about him, every candidate is a target for some sort of controversy.
And I don't just mean things like human error, such as Kerry's blunder regarding education or Bush's change in attitude regarding open-ended wars.
Every one has fallen under attack for things like not making the right promises to not keeping the promises they've made. We still have the same worries and the same problems as we had 20 years ago, and candidates are still campaigning over the same issues.
So, I am wondering, if you were running for President, what would your campaign promises be? What issues do you think the Presidential Campaigns should be covering instead of the ones they are fighting over now?
