Cross-dressing. Not my thing, but if it's yours, whatev. Go for it.
But here's the deal. This mall in Syracuse, The Carousel Mall, is huge. Gigantic. And they're adding onto it right now (google Destiny USA). It's going to be the biggest mall in the world or something like that, if they ever finish it.
So here it is, a commercial center with every store you could think of and more going in every day, and they've made cross-dressing illegal. What's the deal with that?
I don't know if you can maybe count cross-dressing as symbolic speech or something, but I'm sure there's no way you could support this rule constitutionally. Granted, it's not public property I suppose. But still, it makes me want to boycott the entire thing. Not because I'm so pro-cross-dressers, but nobody should be restricted like that.
And here's the thing...What are they gonna do about it? Check?
My initial reaction was 'why in the world is this such an issue? How many cross-dressers in Carousel mall can there be?
But DSW shoe warehouse is, after all, the only place a guy can find size 15 magenta pumps.
Other things going on in my head...
-I met an Army recruiter today who's life apparently consists of trying to get felons to join up and flirting extensively with underage high school girls. I wasn't mad at him for being a creep or anything, I just felt bad because he was, i realized after talking to him, really really lonely and that's a pathetic existence.
-Happy st. Patrick's' Day friend!
-I have this feeling that time is starting to fly, because the past week just wooooshed by so rapidly I barely remember it.
-An individual in my life has been buying me clothes over the past year that are one, two, or more sizes too big for me. Will someone please help me understand this? I can't help but feel like a balloon when this happens.
-ADD/ADHD. I'm just wondering how offended people will be when I write a blog about how I think this is pretend, and whatever it is that they are diagnosing should NOT be treated with medication. It doesn't matter I guess since I'm still going to write it, but I just wanted to prepare myself :)

Do you mean illegal, or just against the rules. I doubt it's illegal, because that would be totally unconstitutional and completely discriminatory. It's probably illegal as a rule anyway, but I think private businesses should be allowed to have any rules they want.

PS. It's "A Great Feat" not "A Great Feet." You'r not talking about more than one foot, i think. I also really don't get this as a title...

-I picked the title "a great feet" because of the size 15 magenta pumps. c'mon now, that's impressive. and "a great foot" doesn't have the same ring, because people normally say "a great feat" as in an impressive accomplishment.
-I'd like to think the ADD comment was a joke, because it certainly made me laugh. I hope you read that blog when I get around to writing it.
-and as far as those whole cross-dressing business goes, i'm sure you're right, and that 'illegal' was not the best word choice there. I just happen to think it's one of the stupidest rules I've ever known about.
