life or death question

so my friends, i have a life or death question: do you make sound effects when you talk? okay, maybe it wasn't life or death, but that's not the point. the point is, that i make sound effects and was wondering if anyone else also suffers from this chronic disease. i mean, i don't really care, and i don't notice, i mean, it enhances the story. but when people are laughing and i'm like, yeah, it was pretty funny, and all they say is that they love the sound effects... uh-huh. and you know when it's getting really bad when ur texting or im-ing and someone responds, "love the sound effects". one that i generally overuse is "psh"... and lately it's been developing into "pshaw". i also use "swoosh" and a series of thumping noises indicating someone or something smacking into someone or something... there are also lots of "hmmms" and "uh-huhs"... a couple of whistles generally make there way in there too. and you know what, you'd think that with this talent i would be able to beat box or something.. but no. i can't what so ever. but don't worry, that small little fact doesn't keep me from trying. anywho, so what kinda sound effects do you use? maybe i can come up with some new ones.

(for my fellow sound effect-ers, i know a great musician who makes lots of sound effects in their songs that i'm sure you'd love to sing along with. who knows, maybe you've heard of him? matisyahu... and of course there's britney spears but let's try and keep it PG.)

I used to do this all the time and my friends would tease me for it but eventually they got into the habit too so it wasn't such a bad thing. You probably picked it up from someone else. Don't worry I'm sure you will put it back down and pick up a new habit soon.

I'm a sounde-effecter. One sound effect that caught on was the one I used for a punching story it went like
"boosh boosh boosh".
I think it adds to the story.

hahaha, most certainly. i like that one, i'll def have to try it out.
