Today could mark a historical day in America. In Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island, and Vermont, the primary for the nomination of a candidate for both the Republican and Democratic parties are up for grabs. We very well may see one front runner of the Democratic nomination drop out after tonight. Hopefully, though, we do not.
I think that Hillary Clinton needs to win Texas and Ohio tonight in order to keep the American public interested. The race thus far has produced many feelings of interest in politics because of who is running in it. When the signers of the Declaration of Independence came together, I don't think anyone would have thought that a black man and a white woman would be the front-runners in the Democratic nomination.
People this election year have become more interested in the elections because for the first time ever, we are seeing the original minorities coming out and taking a stand in politics. This year, no matter who gets the ticket, I think that we will have strong votership due to this great interest.
On another note, not that I want to start a conflict, I think that a Democratic President is needed. It is about time that our government to responsibility for its people. Preferably, Hillary Clinton will win because she already has a plan of action and has all of the experience needed; she has already been to the White House! However, I am not bashing Barack Obama either. I have great respect for him, but I think that he needs a few more years of experience under his belt before he can lead a country.
Hopefully, whoever wins the nomination will take the other as their vice president because that way a Democrat is nearly ensured the presidency. Both sides of the race are being covered, leading to a united democratic party. We'll see for sure how things will play out after tonight. This could be make or break for Hillary Clinton.

OBAMA 08
If everything I've seen around here is any indication of the rest of the state, my money's on Obama winning Ohio.
That said, there's not really any difference between the Republicans and Democrats this year. It doesn't matter what "side" the person is on, we need a different president.
