As I sit here and listen to The Beatles and let my mind wander around the landscape of todays current events and the freshest of fresh minds writing and thinking hard (to show us they are the best, not to actually BE the best) I really wonder if the majority of this country could really be as stupid as the news anchors and public speakers in the loop may make them out to be. Then I realize... Yes, they probably are.
I mean we have a WOMAN, a BLACK MAN, and AN OLD PERSON running for president. And for so many, THATS IT. They dont see anything else, they make their decision from just the basic obvious qualities of a person. Is this not something that is supposed to be engrained in the morals of society? Do people not understand yet that it doesnt matter what you look like or what your age is or what your gender is? That stuff is trivial information that does not come in to play in REAL LIFE (unless WE MAKE IT THAT WAY). Americans are notorious for making things much more complicated than is ever needed. This is why we really dont know who we are voting for... because we add so many complications and they just want to be in power. If we didnt stand for the bullshit, I know it would not disappear... but we would not have 8 FUCKING YEARS OF COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT! But people say well Bush did some things right cant u see? Well maybe a few things, but ANY president would do SOME things right. Thats not the point.. The point is we want the president who is going to do less wrong, do less harm, and do MORE good. There is enough bad news in a presidency that is NOT caused by the president... Why would we want someone that makes more problems every day instead of solving the ones we already have! And this Economic Stimulus thing is utter garbage. Yes, I will admit that I will be very very happy when I get that $300 check in the mail and dont have to do anything for it... but the principle of the idea is just stupid. We spend BILLIONS of dollars on this "rebate" and we HAVE TO BORROW THE MONEY TO DO IT. Yes,.... Money WE will have to pay back tenfold. And guess what? We wouldnt have to pay it back if instead of using ONE DAYS WORTH of money in iraq we gave money to our citizens and hospitals and school.... maybe take a weeks worth of cash out of the war budget. Nothing would change in Iraq, and life would at least get better here. It could be used to pay Americans to do jobs that we need. Forget about kicking out the illegal immigrants, they have been here since anyone can remember. They ARE NOT TAKING YOUR MONEY AWAY. If an illegal immigrant has a job and you dont... that probably means A) Your lazy and want to complain about mexicans. B) They are probably getting paid $2.00 an hour to do the job... Would you EVER work for 2 dollars an hour? No... You wouldnt.. so stop complaining and let the immigrant clean the fucking portapotie. They just want to live a civilized life or at least live a shitty american life like we have had our whole lives.... you take it for granted dont you?
It really started to get me very very very pissed off when i think about how much is being wasted in Iraq. Iraq is a war of choice... and it wasnt my choice. They estimate now that it costs this country 410 MILLION DOLLARS A DAY to be in iraq + afghanistan. WTF???

I read this somewhere and it made me really, really sick feeling:

"If you had a padded expense account that allowed you to spend $1 million dollars a day on whatever you wanted, it would take you 1,918 years to spend as much as we've spent on Iraq and Afghanistan through March 2008"
DAMN! Can I just have 1 year of that? I am starting to get very mad right now so I have to stop writing. Please leave me some comments and stuff and ill be back for more.

P.S. by the way, The national DEFICIT is nearing 10 trillion dollars... with a 3 trillion dollar budget set for 2008... this means we need to shout.. and shout REAL LOUD. Its not gonna end, unless people get real loud.

I do agree with the presidency. A lot of people feel that who ever is supposed to become president will take all the bad things and make them goo. But just like a new wound , it takes time to heal. People can not expect a miracle overnight. Then people have the nerve to get mad when the new president can't hurry up and take the troops out quickly.

As far as Mexicans working illegally over here, I have no problem with it. It's not like they are bothering us. People just get jealous when they can't be like others .

As far as the war, I have not yet seen weapons of mass destruction anywhere. The war in Iraq is like a kid messing up a living room. It's easy for them to mess it up, but when you tell them to clean it back up, it takes them forever.

I am getting so tired of unvoluntarily paying for the war through taxes that I want some kind of gas or grocery refund. My pockets are filling up with lent instead of pennies.
