Loneliness, individualism, isolation

What do you think happens to the human mind when it finds that it is alone and on its own?

How does one cope when they feel the need for touch, but cannot find what they are looking for?

Does depression take over and control the person?

Why does the mind sometimes wish for self-isolation when it only harms the body and soul?

After such a long period of time does the mind find itself lost from all reality and unable to come back from the dream state?

I would like to hear from others about what they think of this,  especially if they have family members or people upon which they could relate.

It depends how strong the person's mind is. If the human mind find out that it's alone, it would either go into depression or struggle to find another existing mind. If people who have the need to touch cannot find what they're looking for, then they would stop or continue searching for it. Depression can take over, but not everyone will fall for it. Some people are strong enough to change their attitude and how they see their lives. Some need assistant from those who care about them to give them strength. The mind wishes some isolation because it needs to "calm down", stop, and think. It's like you don't want anyone to disturb you right now since it might make things worse. OR you just don't feel like seeing them at all. Lastly, if a person isolates him or her self for too long, they probably won't come back. Unless, someone pulls them back. Then again, after long period of time, some just snap out of it and move on with the show. Just a thought.
