The Bush Regime asked him to bring his client Salim Hamdan to a guilty plea in before the "unconstituional" military tribunal created by the Bush administration for Guantanamo Bay detainess. So pretty much every detainee would be guilty no matter what. Instead Charles Swift did his Civic duty and and defended Salim, winining in the U.S Supreme Court. Now what was his rewrd for doing the "right thing" his promotion by the pentagon was blocked by the Bush administration as retaliaton. It was meant to be as a warning to all the other military attorneys that "constitutional scruples are career-enders in the bush regime."
Now a thing that just amazes me is that anyone who stands for the Constitution is considered a Terrorist by the Bush Administration. Also anyone who critizes or writes against the agenda of the Government is also considered a terrorist. In other words everyone is considered a terrorist in Bush's simple little mind. He said himself "if you're not with us, then you're with the terrorists." Wow to me he sounds like a Dictator, I don't know maybe it's just me Hahaha!
