hey richmonders!!!! the bears r back at maymont park. yayyyyyy. if u don't know what i am talking about, a while ago there was a young child of questionable curiosity that decided to climb the fence on the bear cages at maymont park. the bear in a defensive move bit the boy's hand i believe. now from what i have heard the bite was hardly anything to worry over but they killed the bear anyway. i was highly upset. y didn't they at least chastise the mother who wasn't paying enuff attention to her child. well anyway, the bear pen is no longer empty. two black bears now reside at maymont park and are currently awaiting a name. YAYYYYY!!!!
