It's Summer. What do we do now?

I've juxtaposed this post into a division of two: what, in society or in one's head, we can do to make this a more beautiful place. This is not necessarily a universal translator, but these are things for everyone. I looked at my choices in the Relevant Progressive Principles box this afternoon and here's what I came up with for 'shared responsibility'. And if I thought it would do any good, I'd have written, "Stand on a rock where moses stood."

In Society:
1)Smile at someone at yer side when you pass them (it always makes me feel good when someone does this to me).
2)Look for a water of love.
3)Start a book club.
4)Write a screenplay
5)Have a movie marathon
6)If you've gotta shop till you drop, check this out.

By yer lonesome:
1)Walk somewhere or bike.
2)Tired of walking? Sit still and read America (The Book): A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction
3)Tired of satire? Plant a tree.
4)Stay unplugged when you're dreaming. A (2001) study found that "Eliminating standby electricity loss from home appliances could save up to 25 percent on electrical bills"
5)Write a letter (and stamp it) to your representative about an issue that's important to you. How will they know what you're about if you don't perform the simplest form of democracy-in-action?

Good one Mr. Green. I will try some things on the list. No guarantee I can complete all of them.
