Just another reason to get high

Antioxidants are just another excuse to feel better about eating unhealthy things.

Like chocolate… ok yea, they have natural antioxidants – which make you feel happy and give you a natural high. But it doesn’t mean you should run to the nearest candy store and splurge whenever you feel depressed.

Bright colors also trigger a chemical reaction in your brain causing a natural high, thus providing you with your antioxidants. So why not take a walk through a meadow filled with brightly covered wildflowers, or eating some colorful fruit? (They have natural sugars, opposed to man-made ones, so they are better for you.)

Candy stores are more abundant than tranquil meadows.  Candy stores offer immediate satisfaction.  But result in faster crashes, and a new “low,” the solution: go indulge some more.

lol I'll go buy a bar of chocolate know. I've been wondering why people use other substances like drugs to get high rather than candy. Don't they work the same anyway? I was high on coke once, did that count?

Caffeine is definately a drug you can addicted to and high from. And yes, Coke contains (though not high amounts) caffeine. But if you consume enough, frequently, you can most certainly get high. Check out my post, "Hello My name is... and i am a ... addict."
