I just finished reading this book and it was probably the sadest book I have ever read but the greatest book at the same time. The 60's must have been pretty bad with the whole drug scene because I don't think that many people are those kind of drugs these days. Especially those drugs are probably more hard to get to. I felt bad for the girl, she was trying to hard to be sober, great along with her family and get good grades. It ends and she dies. Why wouldn't they write down how she died?
I personally would never turn to drugs for any reason ever. I am a partically happy go lucky kind of girl. I love life and I am always smiling. Go Ask Alice changed the way I look at life completely different. I have learned not to take people, things or life in general for granted. You never know when someone or something will you need or when someone will need you. I am not big on letting people down. With drugs you tend you let a lot of people down.
I honestly do not think Go Ask Alice is a true story. It just seems to grown up for a 15 year old...
