I'm sure many of you have heard the news reports of the high school senior who recently 'mooned' one of his teachers. The student was suspended and then transferred to a different highschool. Now he intends to sue the school to allow him to return because like any other senior he wants to graduate with his class. He has told media sources that 'it was just a prank and the punishment was overblown'.
I think this punishment is ridiculous, all seniors pull some kind of prank during their last year of highschool, and this one certainly wasn't dangerous to the students or teachers. Kids behave ten times worse than this on an average day in every school in the country, and only a handful of them are expelled. This incident is a ridiculous use of extreme punishment, we should be punishing the kids who make babies in the ganitors closet, the ones who sell hard lemonade during lunch and the kids who roll joints during geometry class. Punishing some kid who pulled a harmless prank of indecent exposure shouldn't be sent to another school this close to the end of his senior year.
I'm beginning to wonder if teachers have the conviction to smartly discipline rebellous students instead of punishing minor offences. Sometimes the public school system really does more harm than good.

When i was a junior me and my friends pulled a "junior prank" They said whoever was caught would be suspended which i think is totally unfair.
