Democracy Cannot Prevail While Following a Democrat

The 2008 Democratic Presidential Primaries and Caucuses are a joke. The candidates are competing to be our country’s biggest pansy. Every democratic candidate is promising the immediate withdrawl of the troops from the Middle East. I was reading the local newspaper that had a political cartoon as a page filler. In the comic, the four previous and current democratic front runners were all vying to become the president who can surrender to the “conflict”* first. It really showed how big pansies these candidates really are.

These candidates need a reality check on how much that act would cause irrefutable damage to the United States. Our deployed troops need to remain over seas until the job is done. Otherwise, the “conflict”* will follow and continue on American soil. We are in the Middle East to end terrorism. When terrorism was brought upon our great nation, we imminately went to battle and continue to fight to save our citizens from anymore acts of terrorism.

By setting up a democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan, we can form allies, rather than enemies. The troops are simply doing what’s best for this country. A republican candidate MUST stay in office to continue the acts of our armed forces.

“Conflict”* - Since war has not been declared by congress, we are in a state of conflict.

I think the definition of world super power has changed, and we no longer need to demonstrate our military might to bring about change in the world. And speaking of military might, our military was severely overextended by the war in Iraq. Had we finished what we started in Afghanistan before attacking a country that was not involved in the 9/11 attacks, we might be in better standing militarily to actually do what we promised to do. Right now, we're pissing off the world without the the manpower to do anything about potential repercussions. I feel less safe today as a result of all this "protection" than I did before we went into Iraq.
