I live in Illinois and the weather is still nice here because the warm temperatures are still here! Therefore, I think that its great that the warm temperatures are still here and it's October because I'm not ready for the cold temperatures to come back, yet. Also, I think the warm weather for this month thus far is much better than it was, last year because last year, cold temperatures and snow came back, early. Furthermore, I hope that the warm temperatures will stay here till December; so, it will be warm for Thanksgiving because this year, I wanted to go to Tulsa to spend Thanksgiving with my cousins, but I can't because of my mother's and my money situation because it was still warm there when my mother and I spent Thanksgiving with them for the first time. In other words, I hope we'll have warm weather for Thanksgiving; so, Thanksgiving will still be nice for me, even though I'm won't be in Tulsa celebrating it with my cousins.
Also since the weather is still nice, I think that we should go out and enjoy it (by walking around some parts of our neighborhoods, etc.) while we still can because its like they say, "All good things must come to an end."
The weather is still NICE!

Your lucky. here in oklahoma, in one day the temp fell from 80 to 31 degrees,[Miss Senda]
Here in Wyoming we have had a string of relatively warm winters. Normally, we have at least one and often two weeks every winter where it gets down close to or below minus 20 F every night and never gets above zero. Last winter I think it went sub-zero for one day. The last several winters have been similarly mild.
If this is global warming (and I am skeptical) then bring it on!
I don't know why everybody is so worried about it. Who is to say that the average temperature for the last century or two was optimum?!? More people die from cold every year than heat. It is clear from the geological record that life on earth is far more prolific during its warm periods than it is during its cold periods. Wyoming has layers of coal that are over 100" thick in many places that were layed down by peat moss in tropical lakes tens of thousands of years ago. Now we are essentially a cold desert and it is hard to imagine laying down a layer of peat moss a centimeter thick. I think warmer would be better!
If global warming is caused by human beings, we shoud do more of whatever is causing it.
