Barack Obama Experience: The Best!

Tagged:  •

I stronly believe that Barack Obama is the President that can unite our country. He seems to be the most bipartisan candidate this country has ever seen and his outstanding history of community involvement gives him compelling attributes. His ideas of hope with action are one of the most accepted political messages of the day. However, one of his commonly accepted downfalls is what politicians name "his expierence". But what these politicians look at is how long he's been in Washington. The question isn't how long has he been in Washington or what formitable special interest group he's worked for. The question is, does that really matter? We need a politics of change and he hasn't been in Washington D.C. long enought to be corrupted by the indignit lives of other politicians. He's been a community organizer and has seen the problems that stem from the United States' way of politics and now wants change. Barack Obama's expierence is the best for what he wants to do with this country. None of the political candidates have expierence being president and I'm strongly convinced that if we want to move away from the status quo of U.S. politics and special interests Barack Obama is our only chance.

I am sick of hearing how great Obama is with out someone giving me on good reason why he is so great. They say he is a good speaker, he is charming, he will bring change. How does anyone know obama will do this? I really hate fighting but I am getting very aggrivated.I will say this for the one 100th time. Barack Obama will destroy this country if he becomes president. Since he has no experience he will not know how to run this country effectively. I understand and agree with your point on the fact that none of the candidates have experience but seriously. Has he passed any laws as senetor? NO. I just want everyone to consider that charm will not help this country. The promises he makes and the promises even the other candidates make may actually be empty when they get into office. All he really offers is charm and good speaking.

I don't agree that he will destroy the country because of his lack of experience. I think that's actually his strong suit, because he's not set in his ways or the way of politics, he has the potential to do things differently...so long as he learns from past mistakes made by those who came before him. The system of checks and balances is there to help prevent that, too.

That said, I haven't been all that impressed by him myself. He seemed great at first, but from what I've seen, he hasn't really said anything in all his speeches. Besides, people have made a bigger deal about his race than pretty much anything. Just like they made a big deal about Clinton's gender. Unfortunately, I agree with one of the other bloggers - I doubt he'll make it through his term as President if he gets it because, unfortunately, not everyone in this country is open minded enough to see past his skin color.

-- quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

At the core of leadership is motivation and while I along with millions other Americans who have done their research will agree he is qualified even if he wasn't, motivation is key to action. To mobilize a nation of political activists that have simply complained and done nothing to make the country a better place. So even if he was just a good speaker and charming that in itself would be better than what the other candidates have to offer. That being special interest groups and selfish ambitions. I'll share with you my persnal reasons to vote for Obama, however I would encourage you to look into him further and develop you own reasons.

1. His Universal Healthcare creates a public insurance option that allows people who aren't covered to be covered by the government.
2. His plan to give college students $4,000 in exchange for national service.
3. He's the most bipartisan candidate.
4. Iraq timetables
5. He's never worked for Lobbyists or special interest groups.
6. How do you think it will look to Iraq and the Middle East if we elect another Bush or a female to office. If we elect Barack Obama it's automatically a symbol of compromise, instead of a symbol of U.S. superiority in the world (we shoot down satellites to show that).

There you have it my personal reasons to put Barack Obama in office. He has proposed several pieces of legislation for the state of Illinios and he's voted on numerous issues in the Senate. He also voted to never go into Iraq in the first place, he's the only candidate to have that credential. So there you have it the cold hard facts about Barack Obama, he is the candidate that will change this nation for the better.

Obama has over 12 years in state and federal legistlature....

Hillary clinton has just about 8....and before that she was just a WIFE.....She held no position in the Clinton Administration...

McCain has been in Congress since 1980, buit has NEVER held an executive office...i.e. Governor, mayor, PRESIDENT.

Everyone is talking about all this EXPERIENCE......WHAT EXPERIENCE???

please WATCH AND LEARN. IT ALL ABOUT WINNING, POLITICS

I agree with you when you say that experience does not matter but what does is that one follows through with their promises in order to make things better. This matters because I do not want to see one of these candidates become president and then do nothing. In my opinion, I feel that none of these are good candidates. For Obama his history could come through in his politics and I'm still not sure if he could totally handle the pressure of being president, McCain is too far Right and too much for the war, and for Hilary, I don't feel she could correctly lead our country and I don't think America could be united behind her.

I completely agree that issues are nothing if the candidate doesn't follow through. However, I think it's evident that Obama is the most sincere candidate and he will. When it comes down to if a candidate is going to do what he or she says in office you have to look at their background. Obama has the most hands on socially appreciated background and has already begun that type of a policy making in the senate. I don't think his follow up will be a problem, I'd worry about the other two candidates and their sincerety.

You make a valid point and I would agree with you that he may do those things. My only concerns are whether he has plans for the rest of his term, where he will get the money, and if it will cause regression in Iraq and the Middle East. Also if we never had gone in it may have caused even more problems over here. If we wouldn't have done anything to enforce law then it may have caused more attacks and allowed openness to disobey the law.

Whoever becomes the candidate I just hope that they are able to help our economy and that of Iraq's.

I agree that experience isn't everything, but Obama has NO foreign policy experience. He has not dealt with other countries or war. We are right now in the middle of a war, and will face many other foreign conflicts in the future. How on earth do you expect someone who has not dealt with this type of work to do even a decent job? There isn't enough time for someone to learn about foreign policy, and the White House is certainly not the place to practice.
