The Economy Turns It's Back

Is spending the issue? Or the constant demands of the failing economy? Prices are getting higher and higher but work wages remain the same. Of most work wages, about 30% is spent on car gas and insurance. As a college student, I spend $100 a month on food alone. It is even getting harder and harder to find common jobs such as a cashier or waitress. Even if you do, it affects the effort that you should be putting into your education. It is amazing how the older citizens get their pensions but students have to pay for college. I learned in one government class that this is due to the lack of young people voting. Political leaders fear the elders. So I guess a solution would be to start voting. But then we are left to pay for our aging grandparents anyway. If we end up like the Canadians, it would backfire in other ways such as our taxes rising. They even pay taxes on food (unprepared). Whatever it is that lead our economy to fall, weather it is the failure of auto companies, or that Americans still don’t know how to deal with depressions, our economy backfired on us. Some common people say “print more money” but that would decrease the value of our money. But in most cases, for an economy to pick up, a war must take place for destruction companies to open up. It is amazing how the war in Iraq only brought destruction to this country however, and not wealth. We are spending our tax dollars on air planes and missals when we should be picking ourselves up. The point of this blog is to complain about the economic downfall and ask if there is anyone who knows a fast solution to depression.

Its not just that you don't vote. Its that you vote for the wrong thing.

Look at the candidate that most young people are most excited about: Obama. Obama is a socialist and by far his most substantive policy promise is socialized medicine.

Socialized medicine is going to be expensive and taxes are going to go up to pay for it. Old people don't work and have low incomes. Therefore they don't pay much taxes even if the rates are high. Young people coming out of college are going to pick up the tab. And that will be on top of picking up the massive cost of keeping the social security ponzi scheme afloat.

Who will be the big consumers of socialized medicine? Old people.

So go ahead, vote!
