So, am I the only that has noticed that for some of the really popular scholarships you can't be white? I mean, check it out, there's like, a billion and one scholarships for Hispanics, blacks, gays, but whites? No way. I mean, I'm sure there's more people here that are in the same position I'm in: white, middle class, without enough money to fully pay for college on my own, but I have too much money to fit into the lower class. Because I'm not poor enough that blocks out a lot of scholarships, because I'm white, that blocks a whole hecka lot more. The only I have going for me is that I'm a girl. And even that doesn't mean much any more thanks to Feminists. I mean, they've done a lot, don't get me wrong, but there are differences between genders, and the fact that they want to make the genders identical in everything kind of bugs me.
I digress. Scholarships. Yeah. I'll get into Feminism another day.
It just aggravates me, how you have to pay for college to get a good job, but if you don't have the money for college, you make less, and get poorer, and if you have the money for college, you just get richer. It's causing the middle class to shrink, and there's getting to be more poor or rich people than those in the middle. Which actually sucks, cause that would turn America into an Aristocracy eventually, even more than it is now.

If you're that upset and that pressed for cash, why not apply to traditionally black colleges under affirmative action? My friend got a full scholarship to go to one because she was white. Of course most white people who complain about affirmative action scoff at me when I tell them to try going to a black college.
Now, what I don't get is how you say this^ and still don't understand why they have so many minority scholarships.

There are not enough scholarships period. There is too much waste in the Student loan program. People do not realize that there are colleges that are dirty rotten scoundrels. You have to get funding. I think US govt should be the one that issues the loans and if person is going for a critical need or shortage area then they should be given a free ride to college reguardless of the skin color. There are not enough scholarships period. I see the same things. I qualify for everything in some scholarships except for one thing. The one thing is the color of my skin.
