Myspace is only as bad as you make it to be

There has been a lot of controversy over myspace, which is rather stupid to me. I have read in the papers and seen all of it on the news where kids are abducted and then some get raped. Answer this though, does myspace tell these people to do these horrid things? Does this website have any real link to these crimes?
The answer is no. Myspace actually has nothing to do with it. If a kid get's raped, there may be messages from the victim to the guilty person but that is all.
I truly beleive it is the parent's fault for not providing better supervision. After all, most kids takes today's technology for granted because everything is handed to them in a silver platter. Now tell me, how does myspace have anything to do with how well their parents are watching them. Today's generation of kids know's how far they can push the adults; therefore, this is where the problems needs to be fixed. Everyone that has said myspace is "evil" owes Tom an apology.
Myspace is only as bad as you make it, it is as safe as you make it, and as essential to your life as you make it. If you used this website responsibly and parents acted responsibly, there wouldn't be a problem would there? There are fiends that live in this world but this website for friends has no control over those things, neither do you. should we consider you "evil"? I don't think so. In my opinion I think that people just look for some one to point their finger's at because they are to ashamed to take the blame because they know they could have prevented most of the problems.
