How far will this Democratic Presidential nominee selection process drag on? In the recent days, it seems Hillary has adopted the approach of McCain or Me and no longer Obama or Me? It has become apparent that she will see this process out until the end, even if it means dragging the Democratic Party through a 12 round heavyweight boxing match with both competitors bruised, bloody, wobbly, and dazed at the end. I must add, that I am a Obama supporter at this point, but am independent in my political views as I agree and disagree with major issues from both parties.
Interestingly, Hillary appeared on I believe 6 morning news shows on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 after her wins in TX, OH, and RI, and appeared to support the notion that a Hillary/Obama ticket could survive. Could this really be an option, considering we have 6 months until the August convention, and the negative ads are sure to come out in full force soon. These candidates do have differences in their issues like health care, NAFTA, immigration reform, and the entire political process in general. But those differences are minute compared to the differences between McCain and either Obama or Clinton. And it appears Hillary has now come to the conclusion that either she will take the Democratic nomintation and win the Presidency, or McCain will win. Her statements in the political ads and morning broadcasts could just as well be coming from the McCain camp with her attacks on Obama's experience or lack there of. Unfortunately, I feel the negativity this whole process is about to come to will be detrimental to the general election, something this country needs to avoid. With Bush's ultra-low approval ratings, and record turnouts across the country in both the Democratic and Republican primaries and caucuses, I know the American people are looking for something more, something to believe in, and to stand up tall and say I AM AN AMERICAN. Hopefully, these two won't embarass us all.

Very well written blog.
I like your thoughts. A Hillary/Obama ticket would be a joke. I think she's just trying to appeal to the Obama delegates.
