does highschool love actually exist? Does love itself actually exist? or is it just devotion? If you were a nun does love exist to those people. You have the relationships that last only a few days and then you have one couple or so every year that has a relationship that goes for a year or more. How can something like that exist if there is no such thing as love or they dont know what it is like to have love. How old do you have to be to know the meaning of love? and how do you find out about it? Would your parents not show you the meaning of love or how to love and if that is the case then wouldnt you know about love when you were little because you grew up around it and should know what it would feel like. Some people could go through life and never know the real meaning of love or what it feels like. That is something that you have to learn for yourself. You can not classify an age of people that no about love it just comes to you in some point of time in your life. If you get into the right relationship you might find it earlier on in life but then again it might take you more time to find out the meaning of love to you. Yes it is true that many highschool relationships do not hold together for very long, but there is always those incidents that prove all of your theorys wrong. I believe that i know what love is although i am only 17 and i feel that i do know this because of the relationship that i am in now.

Man, when I was 17 I thought I know about love. Not the love my parents gave me but the love between a man and a woman. And whoa! was I wrong. I committed myself to a relationship that was based on infactuation and lust. When it got boring he was gone, as simple as that. Now I am not bashing young love, there are some great love stories that started in High School, but not in mine. lol... It's very complicated and people take it way too lightly. They through the word around like its just something you say. It really isn't. Basically, I feel that if you're willing to die for that person, then that is love!!!

I am a freshman in college and I have been with my current boyfriend for almost 4 years now. I do believe that I am in love. People ask me how do I know, I;m so young. But he makes me laugh, cares about me and I would no be the sae person without him. I do believe that there is such a thing as high school love, but it doesn't come aound often.
Their is definately high school love. Love is not affected by age, only knowledge does. And the only thing knowledge does to love is get in the way. You have to know the person, and that is all.
All you have to do is know the person? That's not true. I know plenty of people but I'm not in love with them.

I do believe that high school love does exist... because it's still love.. I mean I'm only 17 also but who's to say that we don't know what love feels like just because we are so young? I love my boyfriend. I know it and I don't need anyone else to tell me otherwise just because I'm young. I do understand what people say that you need to get out and experience things that then you would be able to experience love but why can't it be now?
