Bush's unjustfied and illegal invasion of Iraq has cost 655,000 Iraqis their lives, maybe 10% of them were insurgents according to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's center for International studies. Not only that but as a direct cause of the "War on terror" which somehow ended up in Iraq, iraq is now in a Civil War which might last a while. In the middle of the Civil War there are The U.S troops who no longer know what they're fighting for other than survival blah blah blah.
But the most obvious effect of the "war on terror" is that pretty much half the world hates the U.S, because of some Idiot running the country. Besides the war the Country's national debt is just unbelievable now, and it will continue to grow as long as Bush is president.
What is America's reward for Bush's illegal wars that have killed 655,000 Iraqis, an uncounted number of Afghans, and disabled as many as 400,000 U.S. troops?
According to the U.S. National Intelligence Estimate and to practically every Middle East expert, Bush's invasions have radicalized the Muslim Middle East, created legions of recruits for extremists, undermined America's puppet rulers, imperiled Israel, and destroyed America's reputation.
We are talking about over 1 million casualties that have no other cause than blatant lies by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, the bloodthirsty neoconservative cabal that occupies Bush's subcabinet, and their corporate media propagandists, especially The Weekly Standard, Fox News, National Review, CNN, and the Wall Street Journal editorial page. The Bush regime deceived America and the world with its lies that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction that would be turned against the West by terrorists. By giving speeches that continually mentioned Iraq in the same context as 9/11, the Bush regime created the widespread impression, still prevalent among Americans, that Iraq was responsible for 9/11.

I agree with you completely. This entire war has been a lie, and now there's no backing out of it without serious repercussions. It's pretty ridiculous how the mannerisms and decisions made by ONE man (who is supposed to be representing us??) can turn the world upside-down.

I disagree with you completely, do you even remember what happened on 9/11? I do and don't even think for a minute that Iraq would not do the same. Just because they did not do it this time does not mean that it would not have eventually happened. Before you start in on me ask yourself this one question Do you really think that Saddam and his regime could be trusted not to cook up some kind of attack? By Al Queda attacking us on 9/11 it showed all the other countries that hate our guts that we can be hit and they could really do the unthinkable. I think that President Bush while may not be the best person for the job was really smart to bring the fight to there door instead of letting them bring it to our door again.
I am not a bleeding libral and not that conservative but I think that many people have forgotten what happened to us and that many innocent lives were lost on 9/11. Evidently you have forgotten or you just do not care about it, and they are your on people. What you do not realize is that we liberated Iraq and Afganistan and that most of the people are glad we are there to help them. One thing that we do in this country is jump on band wagons because it is popular when the most important thing is to support our troops and are country. You may not agree with me but you do have to realize that President Bush is playing the cards he was dealt. Would you rather them attack us and fight on our own soil?
