Everyone knows about Ms. Paris Hilton heir of Hilton Hotels. I am not a fan, I have never been, and I will never be a fan. Paris Hilton is a very beautiful woman and has the power to do pretty much anything, but what does she do with it? She gets drunk, speeds, and gets arrested. A girl with that much potential and power should be a role model to younger girls with dreams and aspirations. It sickens me as a young woman today when I see her face plastered on every channel because of stupidity, ignorance, or because her dress is pretty. She doesn't realize that girls, unfortunately, look up to her and want to be like her. She doesn't set a good example. Hold on though because this is not even the thing that pushes my buttons.
The whole "Paris going to jail" thing was very over ratted. Paris has made a name for herself by being the stupid blonde on TV, totally taking the spot light from Jessica Simpson. She goes to jail, gets out, gets put on house arrest, goes back to jail, and gets out again. If she were black, she would still be there and she wouldn't have gotten that much covered at all, but no it's not about BLACK against WHITE.
It's about the MEDIA! The media parade her around like a goddess on a pedestal. She is only human and is as normal as every non-celebrity out there. For God sakes the girl didn't even know what Wal-Mart was. Anyhow, I just don't understand how someone in her position could get herself into so much trouble and that’s not the worst part. CNN made her the talk of the town as much as E! and Access Hollywood. CNN, CNN for crying out loud. CNN usually shows things dealing with politics and world news, but when Paris Hilton got into a police car they cut off the very importance of the world to get her live on camera. There is a camera there so I'm guessing that it can be tapped and later shown, but no, they had to let it be known that Paris Hilton getting into a police car was more important than world and government issues.
The news can be boring at times and they may have needed help in getting viewers, but I find the news rather interesting. I need to know what and who is controlling my life and how they are doing it. As an African American woman, the news is very beneficial to me. I have to be updated on changed laws, changed Acts, and changed anything. I don't care if Paris Hilton has gotten into a police car. In this case the news was not boring it was PATHETIC.
I rest my case.

I believe everything that you just said. It sickens me as well that an over-pampered heiress gets all the attention for despicable behavior and she doesn't have a lick of talent. "That's Hot," is the most intelligent thing she has to say. I have two daughters and I'm scared that they are going to grow up idolizing these woman instead of woman who promote change and do something with their lives. The media is to blame!!!! It reminds me when princess Diana died and not too long after that Saint Mother Teresa died. Who got the media coverage? Who was splatter all over the front page, continued on page 4, 8, and 9 and who got a tiny little article on the last page of the paper barely covering all the worthwhile things she had accomplished in her life. Sure, Diana showed up at a benefit here and there, but who devoted their entire life to helping people of third world countries read, write, cook, grow crops, and bring them to God. That's the kind of woman I want my girls to idolize and to become, not some arrogant air head with nothing better to do than make a sex tape. As Pink said in her song "Stupid Girls" (a song that actually makes fun of the idiocy of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Ritchie and so many more) "What happend to the the dreams of a woman president. She's dancing in a video next to 50 cent."

paris is just a dunce. she likes the attention of being in trouble. she just thinks everyone should idolize her. with her second album on the way i think she just needs a life. even though she has money she still has nothing better to do than flaunt her skankiness.
she's an ass, the shit on the street, the doggy doo, and yes...she stinks
okay, i personally don't wish her any harm, i just don't want to hear about her, read about her, see her face but i think that is just my hopeless wish and dream
