If we are to search for world peace and freedom, why is it that negative assumptions lead the way with political issues. When the search and exploration for new forms of technology power the American economy, and moreover emerging counteries such as China and Japan, how is it that the voice of one nation feels that it has the say over all nations. While Iran continues to enrich uranium for use in nuclear power plants, the assumptions by American leaders continue to mislead the public view. Can we trust our own leaders to promote world growth and unity when they view all actions by foreign counteries as a threat to American soil. The problem lies not only with the current administration, but with the past administrations where lies and deceit ruled political view. "I did not have sexual realtions with that woman" and "No new taxes" to name a few have come from the most recent Presidents to take office. The effect of the little white lies that have come from past administrations have turned our own political views. While we search for the truth from our politicians, we hear nothing but lies. Yet when they speak, we listen as if they are telling the truth. How can we believe so many lies from all parties, and continue to follow ideas made by these same politicians.
