For better of for worse the culture of our world is full of the eccentric and deranged. Most if not all can easily put themselves into the categories of: ADD,ADHD, Depression, and manic panic attacks, myself included. The world has grown to accept these categories and cope with issues. The problem now is that we forget that these are still very private very personal issues. In today's culture where everyone and everything is public we some times dont realize how much the things we say about these things can hurt others. If we are to be respectful, understanding, and helpful sometimes not saying anything is just as good as the medication itself. We are a nation whose rates of these issues has increased almost exponentially and we are going to need to learn how to deal with it properly. We can start by learning when and where it is okay to mention these things in jest and in serious conversation. I mention all of this because living with this I know that even a insignificant comment can feel like a stab in the chest, and I know I am not the only one who has been hurt like that because of the horrid things we live with.

I agree and I can relate.
I was speaking with a co-worker today about a similar thing. I had seen a really small full grown adult, a bald woman, and a seemingly normal man in a mechanical wheel chair. I asked her how weird or bad or Okay it would be to ask these people why?
She said it might be alright if it were a little kid asking but if I were to do it she would kick my @ss! WHy does age take innocents away?
I wish my five year old had been with me out here for that little journey so I could no longer be wondering about these people.
