No today I will not wish everyone a merry christmas, but instead offer a few words of insight for what it is worth.
To the best of my knowledge, none of us had any clue when and to what family we would be born to. So sometimes we may not got the start we would have wanted. However, we do have control on how we shape our life afterwards.
Sometimes it seems as everything is against you. It may seem that you can't catch a break. You can say to yourself: " I'm going to climb over this wall or knock it down." OR you can say to yourself: " I'll wait until someone else to throw me a rope and give me a boost."
Which will you choose? Personally I rather pull my own weight because in the end the only person that won't let you down is you.
Just one day think about what it is that you need to improve, no matter what it is and get a game plan on how to change. Make sure that you set a timeline.
For example, I want to earn my degree in Radio/TV broadcasting. So I will start community college this August, earn my associates in 2010 then I can transfer to a university.
Just remember, you can't rewrite your past, you can lay your foundation today to build your future.

II agree with what you said. We do have the power to control our lives and try to make some changes about ourselves. We must learn how to move on from the past and start to make things better in the present and future.
This really inspired at me, because I have been sitting at my computer putting everything off that I know I need to tackle.
And I'm right with you. I want to go to college for TV Broadcasting too!
However, I don't think I'm going to get into my dream school. I actually often tell myself that there's no way I can get in, because my grades aren't good enough. I guess I do just have to believe in myself and do the work (even if it may require hours,) to ensure the A...
