The moment allegations of improper activity arose regarding the Duke Lacrosse players, the players were guilty. The moment ESPN and CNN broke UPDATES about the charges, the players were guilty. The MOMENT it became known that the players went to Duke they were guilty. When we learned they attended elite private schools in New York they were guilty. And when they were white and the strippers were black the players were crucified.
Into what has our legal system devolved? Where has the age old tenet: 'Innocent before guilty' disappeared? And who is the culprit? Society. Media. the Ignorant. We expect that when people are brought to court, they will then be jailed or killed. We expect that when race is a factor, the accused is already in the wrong. When we see family histories and bios on tv, we assume that the profiled people messed up.
And you know, the one group of people most would expect to most vigilantly defend these players, the school, has erred on the side of this soceital complex. The players have been suspended. No one has been convicted yet. Only loose allegations (that fall apart with each passing day) remain. in any other situation (where race and reelection weren't invovled) these players would be allowed to continue in school until any formal convictions were handed down.
Now their futures are in jeopardy. No. Their futures are dead. No grad school will want them. Who will want to hire such cancer too? Oh, aren't you that Duke player that raped the girl? No, I was never convicted. Oh...ok then. I'll be back a bit later.
Guilty as charged?
Guilty Before Proven Innocent.

It's not fairy that without any proof they got in trouble. If I was them, I would sue
They already filed claims that the sole motivating factor for allegations/charges were the re-election goals of the PA.
How sick is that?
Very. why does everyone use the race card? I go by proof
