"Christians are some of the most judgemental people I've ever seen..." Says the judgemental Jew.

I know a family that were once proclaiming to be a Christian Family and are now self proclaiming Jews. Every time I go to this family's house they mention something about how Christians are so judgemental and are always judging someone, but it makes me kinda laugh because they are the first people to find out things about pastors, or anyone in leadership and are ready to throw the darts to knock them down. "Oh! Did you hear about Pastor so and so.... Yeah, he got divorced 10 years ago! And he calls him self a pastor!".... "Oh! Evangelist so and so killed someone when he was 13 years old... He shouldn't be aloud to talk in front of people!" And within 10 minutes of saying that they'll look at me and tell me that Christians drive them crazy... because they are so stinken judgemental.

It just drives me insane because how can someone look so closely at someone else's flaws (In this case they're saying that ALL " Christians are so judgemental...) and yet they can't even begin to see their own flaws and faults? Lets face it, no one is perfect, and will never be.. but for one person to cast judgement upon someone for them dealing with the same thing that their dealing with... come on.

Don't get me wrong, I know all people are human and we all need to be working on our flaws.... but don't judge others for not being so perfect unless you are flawless yourself. It's like someone who weighs 250 pounds... if they look at someone who weighs 200 pounds and turns to a friend saying "They need to lose weight"... WHAT?' Or a drug addict judging someone else for doing the same drugs on the same days at the same time. Hmm...

All I am saying is that we need to really think before we judge.

This post would have been much more meaningful if not for the judgements you made, stating that ALL Christians are completely judgemental. Kind of ironic, huh.

I think the statement about ALL Christians was not meant to be taken literally. I think there was perhaps a punctuation error that made that misleading, but if one reads the whole post and takes the statement in context, one can see that the point of the blog was that one cannot say ALL Christians are anything.

For some reason yesterday I could not sign back in to fix the typo. What happaned is when I tried to add some editing into it it omited some words. But thanks for actually understanding my point.

Self-proclaimed Jews, huh? I hope they know that they won't be considered Jewish by any actual Jews....

And I find it more interesting than the fact that they are judgmental that they were Christians and are now so critical of those Christians. I mean, I used to be a Christian, but I'm only critical of Christian beliefs, not how they live their lives...
