Living life in a constant fear is what we, as human beings, do. Cursed with free thinking minds, we fear the unknown, we fear heights, spiders, clowns, death, and oh, did I mention everything? But honestly, who believes that jumbled mess of words? We are the most fortunate creatures the earth has to offer, so why is it that we must go throughout our time here in fear?
Now, I'll be honest, when it comes to this matter, I'm certainly far from innocent. I'm afraid of more things than you could imagine (ticks, spiders, heights, car accidents, and the list goes on), but the one thing I always like to remember is that life is deeper than the fears we all live with. I could sit here and tell you that there is a perfect explanation for why certain topics strike fear into our hearts, I could tell you it was only a bad experience that scarred us as children, but that would be a lie. The responsibility lies within ourselves. We are the ones who create useless fears.
So, if all this is true and we are the ones who create our own limitations, why is it that we are unable to break away from those same shackles that we placed upon our own wrists? It's almost as if we're prisoners of our own minds. At any rate, the next time you're taken aback by an insect or terrified by even the sight of that roller coaster you'd never dream of riding, think about the real roots of that fear and determine, is it really worth it?

I am terrified of spiders but I think that is reasonable since I have seen the kind of spiders that can numb and take chuncks out of human legs and feast on camels.
The only thing to fear is fear itself.
If you have the key to free me from my mind, I would appreciate you giving it back I do not want my mind any more.
