So...we went over to Iraq, we captured and held Saddam, we raised gas prices, and we still have yet to find weapons of mass destruction...Does anyone else find this a little odd as to why we are still fighting??? The entire Bush administration said it was going to be an in and out victory. So we sent in a few troops to see what kind of firepower they had and to find places to land our all out invasion, and then George got too toot his horn and say he finished what his father had started (ie-Saddam Hussein). And even after his own cabinet and advisers told America that the war was over we are still over there fighting, dieing, and pulling for more troops to go and help with this...quote unquote,"transitioning stage." Why would you help someone that doesn't want, no despises your help? And The reason we have a congress is so that no one man can call an entire nation into an unnecessary war. Where were they? Yes, I can honestly say that I for one am pleased that Saddam is not in power anymore, but at the cost of thousands of our soldiers? Was this a fair trade???

Well, had there been weapons of mass destruction, or had there been any good reason for war, we would have lost thousands of soldiers anyways.
I agree though, this war is worthless, and a waste of our time and resources
The war is pointless. And at this point, it seems like we're never getting out of it. No matter what these politicians tell us.
Did you know that Pres. Bush Sr. was nicknamed "Ram-Bush"? (as a parody to Rambo of course). Maybe that explains why our current Pres is into this whole war thing.

I see a comparison. Bush's father took us to iraq and entered us into a recession. Now Bush is doing the same exact thing. The thing most people don't realize is this war wasn't suppose to be against iraq it was suppose to be against saudi arabia or something like that. Bush is screwing us all and now we are stuck there.
