Today my mother told me I would have to pose with my boyfriend in a duck tape prom dress and tuxedo to win a scholarship. Besides the fact that my prom already passed, she plans on making these clothes in the time period of...a day. which is a total mess.
She quit her job and has been looking for a job for the past 2 motnhs. As an adult she should know never to quit a job unless you have one already lined up for you. Even I know that. When she quit she told me not to worry because she already had money saved for my college and if anything, her husband would be able to handle our finaces, which is obviosuly not the case. She told me she would never let me down. Apparently never came quite rapidly.
I know how hard it is to find a job. I've been looking for one myself for....5 months maybe. I have a job at burger king which, I must admit, it is not as easy as it seems. That job is not for everyone. i'm hoping to get a job with my best friend's father who has an opening but, once again, I know not to quit unless I have another job lined up.
Please let us be saved next year

You can never be too sure of jobs. You might think you can quit due to certain circumstances and think you can always find another job. You might quit one job because you have another one that is about to hire you. You might get laid off. You can always try to cling on to your job for dear life until something else comes through but you never know. You might have no choice but to quit or get layed off. You do have a good point on work ethics. My mother would quit jobs from left to right because she wanted to be in charge at times but did not pertain the management position. That act partially was one reason we became homeless.
well this is one good thing; we live with my grandmother in a house that is already paid for. I'm just really nervous because it really doesnt look like the economy will get any better any time soon
