The person that has had the greatest impact on my life is my step brother, Arnoldo. He is from my dad's first marriage and he was living with us because his mom did not want him with her for some reason. I rememeber when I was ten that he would get home at almost sunrise. My dad would be really angry at him because he would get home drunk and on drugs. My father did not want him living with us because he would be a really bad example and did not want us to see him all drunk and on drugs. He was like 19 at the time and had not finished graduating from elementary. Whenever I think of him, I go back to when he was hurt from an accident he had because one of his friends was drunk and on drugs driving. He could not move from bed. He had bandages all over his body. With time, he moved with his mom's brother. Time had passed since that accident and he continued with his life. My dad was not an inch proud of him and he was not welcomed in our house but I would still see him walking down our street with some alcohol in his hand. Sadly, he passed away on August 17, 2005 when he was about 27 because he had problems with some people and they hanged him at a corner of a street. That happened two days before my dads' birthday and on the day of his birthday he made a toast for him and we all started crying for him. My dad told me that he would never want another of his children to go to what his first child went through. I promised to myself that I would never do drugs nor drink. He was a good person that I will always remember everyday of my life. R.I.P. Arnoldo Morgan. I Love You!
