so the first week of january starbucks announced that it will eliminate all the trans fats from their food sold at more than half the stores and by the end of 2007 all of their stores will no longer have trans fat food.
this is a great proposal but considering starbucks is so up to date with things and they love the enviroment why has it taken so long to become people-health friendly?
so long as they are working towards making everyone eat better day in and day out im glad to hear that they are trying to better the people of today with whatever they can do since most people have a hard time saying no to oh so yummy foods.

If thier getting rid of all of the trans fat food that they sell then what will they sell!
This is a stupid question, but what exactly is trans fat? I heard that many restaurants are trying to eliminate it, like McDonald's, but I think it's impossible to make foods totally fat-free...
trans fats are unsaturated fats that really dont help peoples health. it increases heart disease. most often it is from partially hydronated oils but it can occur in foods naturally also.
ha ha no theyre not going to get rid of the food. theyre just eliminating the trans fats. they do this by replacing it with a different (healthier) ingrediant...i think. something like that.
