Yay! Nancy Pelosi is the NEW HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER! Unanimously!
The more contested race between Murtha and Hoyer has yet to be decided.
BUT is the Republican party reconnecting to their racist roots? Given the commercial against Ford (Known as "Call me") that depicted a white woman calling Ford a black candidate....
NOW they've elected Trent Lott. Remember him? He's the one who LOST his job due to his racists comments.
But stats are rolling in. Republicans LOST VOTES in every dimension!
They LOST the moderate voter.
They LOST the independent voter.
They LOST the hispanic voter.
THey LOST the black voter.
They LOST every governorship they had running.
THey LOST the Majority!
PLEASE Democrats can we HELP them LOSE ONE MORE THING?
THE ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES.(and maybe some of those smug smirks-though those are bordering on an endangered species now!)
(( Update: this just in as I was about to post... Hoyer beat out Murtha and the media is calling this a Democratic divide. Not likely but if that's what turns their spin cycle then I guess they'll spin away!)
