One of my friends is very passionate about the government should be running the government and was very surprised when I said I didn't think it would be a good idea because on a number of occasions I had watched inefficient of the government to take the smallest task and drag it out. I work for the federal government and have watched in "horror" as it took them four months to hang a cork board and according to some at work - that was quick. Now I ask you this - do you really want someone in charge of your health who takes four months to hang a cork board? Can you imagine sitting in the hospital waiting to get something stitch up and the nurse telling you it will take four months for them to get the appropriated papers together?
Another thing is the fact that they seem to change work procedure on a whim. First it is fill out paper A and than file it with paper B. Than they add paper C without telling you.
Yah – I do believe that something needs to be done about Health Care but I don’t think it is such a good idea to hand it over to the government.
