This is a call to women to instill and witness peace on earth! WE have a power to end wars, hunger, rape and injustice. Let us join together world wide to change the world for the better. Our power cannot be compared to any other power on Mother Earth and will be exercised in this most creative way for good. What I propose is not an original thought. In 1993 it came to me and I have now been encouraged by the Mother to instruct Women to unite worldwide for peace and to end the wars around the world. Humans must evolve to operate as peaceful humans once again. Women have the ability to create the vibration necessary to heal the world! Humans have intelligence and even the animals will be reminded as we respond-with-ability in our united mission.
Women are the key AND the solution. Women, appreciate your power and unite with me and other women around the world and ‘Bring Our Legs Together for Peace’! Instill peace by withdrawing from sexual intercourse or love making, etc. until humans once again live in peace. Our mission will last at least 6 months.
Our dramatic and solid measure will bring about a stability the world has not experienced for over 5,000 years. Women join our mission for the sake of all humans! Yes, this means the birth rate will decrease for a moment and what woman really wants our children to witness what we as adults have become. We teach our children to talk to resolve (end) conflict and as adults we grab the guns and forget the awesome power negotiation can achieve.
Now is the time for WOMEN to unite WORLD WIDE FOR PEACE!
Form support groups to encourage success of our earth mission. Yes, some may see our mission as a challenge and I know our mission is an awesome opportunity for women to heal the world.
Women can and must handle our mission with grace, care and ease! A woman uniting for peace and one willing to ‘Bring Our Legs Together for Peace’ is also a marvelous way to once again become ‘a woman unto ourselves’ as a celibate celebration to heal our body. I am sure there will be a dramatic decrease in sexual diseases, menstrual discomfort and create an increase in women’s health overall. Women are making room for real concrete dialog to begin around world wide concerns and encourage the health and well being of all humans.

This makes a whole lot more sense to me then the idea of "Orgasming for peace," because if nobody on Earth truely got laid until we restored peace, you better believe peace would happen in a few months at the very least! People really don't like to go without sex; they would make peace happen quickly. Plus with all the terrible things that happen to women in particular (abuse, rape, violence, getting more sexually transmitted disease, unwanted pregnancies,) I think it would be extremely healing to womankind to give up sex for at least six months. I think I'll join you in this pledge...since lately I haven't been able to find any good men around anyway, I've been thinking to myself women should all give up sex to teach men not to be assholes to us; but world peace is an even loftier mission!
We as women do truely allow all of the evil things in the world to continue to happen...we should now do something about it!

"Close our legs" imo sounds better than "bring our legs together" which is just confusing.
How exactly do you think this will work? Sexually frustrated people, both men and women, tend to be more aggressive and irritable. Why would there be a decrease in menstrual discomfort? Having sex during your period has actually been shown to HELP with menstrual cramps and so forth.
Any women who participates in this likely has an understanding and supportive male partner. Women who are with male partners who do not allow them to choose if and when to have sex will of course not participate, making this project rather useless.
Also, I don't see the point of being celibate for peace. How does not having sex promote peace? Sex is healthy, both mentally and physically. STDs, rape, abuse, etc, are NOT the cause of women not "closing their legs".
A mission stating a goal in the negative, at times brings on negative results. We are for peace. Yes, it means to close, or cross our legs for peace and to bring them together fosters unity, which is exactly what women will need to accomplish this honorable task. Sexual frustration has been used as a way for us to abuse one and other and we have hidden behind this too long. We are not unintellegent animals. We can control ourselves and learn to curb our irritations in other ways. There should be no fear in a woman who decides to join this mission. She see's the big picture for the collective good of all humans. Women with partners too witness the world gone crazy with wars, domestic violence, sexual abuse, etc. They both have an opportunity to change the world together. Our world is suffering and if women becoming celibant can bring the human race towards communication and negiation to end wars and bring peace to our planetout peace, so be it! This is a small (no pun intended) price to pay for peace. Please think over the posibilities of your power and how you joining this mission will help the world. It is not an outlandish opportunity but one which can bring peace.

Sexual frustration is certainly not an excuse for any form of abuse. However, people who lead healthy sex lives are generally happier and healthier than those who do not, or those who abstain. Sex is a biological function, it makes no more sense to abstain from sex (as a whole - an individual may have their own reasons, for instance right now I am celibate for personal reasons) than it does to abstain from eating good foods.
I can't imagine your average Indian wife agreeing to this sort of thing. Her husband would likely be angry at her, frighten her, even abuse her until she gave in. Those men who would accept and support such a thing are exactly the men women SHOULD be sleeping with - men who respect them. Why punish those men - and why punish women - by denying them sex?
Rape and abuse are against non-consenting people. How would more non-consent lower those rates? Most girls who have sex before the age of 16, for instance, later feel they were pressured into it and didn't really want it - those aren't the girls who're going to be choosing to participate here.
There was another project, I believe done by the wives and girlfriends of gang members. They refused to have sex with their partners until their partners cased a violent gang war, I believe. That's an entirely different and more effective project - it rewards men for shunning violence, and rewards women for being with partners who shun violence.
It is easy to see the reward of peace with our mission. It requires one whom is interested in peace and one whom is not in fear of our misison. As I mentioned other ills in our society will decrease as well. Our mission is one of peace. Women abstaining from sex for peace is an exercise to create a peaceful world. This is not a mission of fear or of worrying about someones next sexual encounter. Why fear peace or any attempt at peace? You have mentioned a successful situation brought about by women with a mission whom chose to exercise abstinence to obtain their goal. We offer the same exercise with a goal for peace. Our mission is simply world wide instead of regional. This mission is for Women by the way not girls. You are celibate for personal reasons. Why not also dedicate your choice of celibacy for peace as well and join us? We think it makes good sense to exercise celibacy for peace. If you do not agree, this is clearly your personal choice. Fortunately it will not influence those whom choose to participate for peace. Our mission is clear and simple. 'Bring Our Legs Together for Peace'. We hope you will encourage peace in whatever way you see fit. By the way, I support whatever effort you choose. Please let me know how I may support you.
While this seems like a very honorable mission, I don't see how it'll work, as Kiota said. Those who participate in this will be those with either no partners, or understanding partners. Also, while it may work for developed nations, how do you expect to spread the word to underdeveloped nations, those that typically need the most help in bringing about world peace? Perhaps I'm just overly skeptical, but I don't see how it could work.

Here is what a male associate of mine wrote on the response to the conern below. He restates the concern then answers:

This isn't completely true. Women and men both have some differences in the way they process hormonal stimuli. For instance, after sex women generally want to cuddle while men want to sleep. It also takes much longer for celibate women to feel any ill effects at all from abstinence. When they do it's generally displayed as irritable and/or aggressive behavior.
For men this is very different. Celibacy tends to make men docile, suggestible and more eager to please. This is a known fact that any dominatrix will confirm. Aretha sang "... there ain't nothing that a satisfied woman won't do." For men it is exactly the opposite. Think about it. There is absolute nothing that a horny man won't do. " (end quote)

i believe anybody should be willing to try something different for the sake of peace.
World population is growing at a net of deaths rate of about 70 million new humans per year. If women would bring their legs together for six months then presumably for this year at least the net births would be halved. The earth would be spared assult of an additional 35 million net hungry mouths.
And most war is ultimately a matter of economics and scarcity. Less hungry people would relieve the pressure.
Of course I will not bother to bring this movement to my wife's attention .
Nope, you wouldn't see the effect until next year, since the gestation time is 9 months for humans. Of course, the women most likely to get pregnant are those least likely to read this blog in the first place.
