The site works where you post meaningful blogs. If you click on the FAQs, this will tell you everything.

Read my blogs, comment, and vote. Thank you

It's always good to have new voices bringing new ideas to the site.

Posts must be a minimum of one hundred words to help prevent people from posting quick questions, and very short entries just for the points. If you have a question, or something short to say, please use the forums (they can be found at the very top of every page) instead of a blog entry.

You will get more respect from most users if you try to use proper puntuation, grammar, and spelling. Also using chat speak and writing in all bold can make it difficult to read your post.

Check out the "Highest rated posts" near the top of the sidebar for examples of well written blogs. Also I've found Debatechick, Fallon, Fanaile Essence, and Dr Gonzo (and others, these are just a few examples) usually write very well and do a good job of addressing the issues being discussed, so any of their blogs and comments are good examples to look at.

When you leave comments you should try to make sure they add something to the conversation. Asking questions, giving a counter arguements, expanding on something that's been said, and saying what you liked or disliked about a post are all good uses for comments, but most users don't appreciate comments that just say "hi" or seem totally unrelated to the post.

I hope this helps. Good luck with the contest, and let me know if you have any questions, or need more help figuring anything out.
