burning up our earth

One issue that has disrupted the natural flow of nature would be the world's heavy consumption of fossil fuels. Since the discovery of fossil fuels as an energy source the world as a whole has built upon an infrastructure that rely on these fuels to function. Consequently our earth has been greatly affected. Our air, oceans, land and atmosphere have been contaminated due to the byproducts produced by the burning of these fuels. We now face issues of global warming which also affect the polar ice caps, atmospheric temperatures, and rainforests along with wildlife that is on the verge of becoming extinct. If humanity as a whole does not come together to collaborate on the implementation of cleaner alternative energy sources the situation will only become worse. It is the responsibility of leaders of the nations of the world to now come together and face this crisis. Our earth is a beautifully delicate place and if we want the futures generations to be able to enjoy it we must act now. On top of all the environmental consequences now these feuls have also become a cause for war. Sadly the human race now has a potential to destroy our planet with one drop of a bomb. It's time we end these conflicts and pursue more noble causes.
