April Fool's Day was not a national holiday untill the 1920's. It all started with a girl named Maria Abolita Gonzalez. She was the daughter of a single mother that had immigrated to America a couple years before. The Mother, Anita Gonzalez was a poor factory worker. She worked really hard to raise Maria and her five brothers and sisters. When Anita got very sick and could not work anymore, everything that the family had strived to build was lost. One day two men from the bank came to her house. They talked to her mother in private. When the men left, the mother came out crying. Apparantly, they were to lose their house because the land owner had sold the land to a rich developing service. Well, Maria was angry and she wanted revenge from the land owner. So, she went to his house and waited outside of the door until he came out of his house. She scared him by screaming. She scared him so much that he had a heart attack and died. She later told the police that this whole blog is false because it is April Fools Day. Anyways, that is the history of April Fools Day. Have a good day!
