Some political Poetry

The fox and the Hound

There is a fox and a hound perched up on a mound
This place is full of the drool of mules
Mules that kick and mules that lick
All of them in common as all them are pricks

My meaning is clear so do not be insincere
The Fox and Hound are nightly on your mound
You flip and daze all in a craze
A maze to be sure for those who are pure
The cure is so simple why didn't you ask?
A republican and democrat wearing the same mask

You ponder and wonder why it all sounds so drask
Why the left and the right both shutter at the task
The news made a mound
Your mound free of news
All because you had to watch a fox and a hound
All calling back to a station called Fox News

Political Truth

liberals drool

conservative fools

All go about interdependent on mules

If you were misguided, hoping to be delighted

Your plight is slighted, they will never be indicted

For it is all for naught

Not for all to be caught

Politian's and plantations

Equally corrupt in emancipation and proclamation

Prancing in procrastination

John Kerry's House of Condiments

The conscious wisdom to flop to flip or flip to flop

Those that choose are often not ready for on the spot

But if you are like many who do, and choose a path anew

Please do not stew in the press's bleeding due.

Elections like captions are chosen by the conscious

Conscious of the choice not of the voice

If your wisdom is impaired than do not be dared

For the choice is yours to flip or flop but not to be prepared

Your record declared, and the voices well aired,

Stay on message

For in the passage is a decrepit fate

The reversal of steps and a press voting to obfuscate

This is one case where a poem actually seems right for this site. You may also want to post it at ProgressiveU's Creative Writing site too, just for the heck of it.

These lyrics reminded me that Hillary and McCain make me wanna Ralph.

The Once-ler: Well, what do you want? I should shut down my factory, fire a hundred-thousand workers? Is that good economics, is that sound for the country?

For that genius poem
This should be everywhere
Because its true
