As some of you may already know, Im getting married. The date has been set :) I will be married on July 16. My sister is saying mean things about it, but what does she know? If she thinks that she is the first person to try to talk me out of the marriage, shes wrong.
I cant say I've ever felt this way about another person. I thought I did... I never thought that it was possible to be in love with my best friend. You can ask him, I always told him he was my best friend. I can talk to him about anything...we are so alike its a little scary. This is the best relationship I've ever been in and he is 2300 miles away. I'm truly blessed to be with such a great guy.

Congratulations, I cant wait until I graduate and get a job so I can marry my boyfriend (my conditions, not his--if he had it his way we'd be married tomorrow :-P) I'm happy for you!

...yes. A great deal. I hope all goes well for you, but planning to get married after four months of being together and TWO WEEKS of actually SEEING each other... doesn't sound like it's going to work out.

I personally agree with most of them. how much have u physically been with him? just becuase u talk to him every second on the phone does not mean your ready for marriage. but i know you dont care i just hope u live a perfect happy life like u think...but nothings perfect..

I'm terribly sorry honey, but in any kind of intelligent conversation you usually try to annunciate words correctly. The same goes for any kind of intelligent opinion in writing. As great a timesaver making words into letters in Instant Messengers is, in any kind of opinionated post, to even be considered taken seriously, at least try to spell words out and use some sort of spelling and grammar check (MSWord works great, or your own brain). Though I appreciate your backhanded compliment to our marriage. May God smile in your misfortune as well.

PS-- its enunciate, not annunciate. I understand that you may be ready and its a choice for you two to make, but you have to be ready for people to look down on it and have doubt, because in most cases it would be prudent to wait longer. And when you get so defensive that you have to correct people's abbreviated words and spelling errors, you lead people to believe that you are so defensive because you yourself have doubts. I would be careful what image you portray, for it undermines your argument to some extent.

I hate to tell you this, but on a site like this, with something controversial there will be people expressing opinions. thats what progressive is all about--people expressing and discussing opinions. just because you disagree doesn't make either one of you wrong, and there's really no point in getting mad. I mean, who care's what they think anyway? its your life!
