This is what I get for living with a family of Michigan fans.
I've heard nothing else except that University of Michigan goes against their biggest rival Ohio State University today at 3:30 Eastern time.
Sadly we have divisions within my own family. The Michigan State University graduates are hoping for a Ohio State University win. And the University of Michigan graduates are ready to shove some homemade buckeyes down their throats.
It's one time I'm thankful to be on the other half of the country! But I'm betting that UofM wins by 33-27. ANyone else have dibs?
From the time I was little, I got to have a piece of the University of Michigan football history by going to watch the band practice, going to tailgate parties, and by watching the fans swarm the streets in an amazing show of maize and blue.
But I just discovered that one of the University of Michigan's greatest coaches died yesterday while preparing for this game-- Bo Schembechler. It's going to be a terribly somber game for the players and for Coach Carr and the coaches at the University of Michigan as well as for the players.
