What I want to know is when our we going to take an active part of getting control of our lives, our health, and our future back.
We are not together anymore, we are private. We have our own life, our own room ,our own tv, our own house, car, computer, and the choice to have these things.
This may be one of the reasons that the history of democracy has always eventually failed. We tend to be rather selfish creatures, and unfortunately these industries we have created tend to prey on it.
Mad at the world...take a pill. Sick of people...shop online. Can't stand your parents....email them, but don't call.
Can you grow a tomato plant, let alone a garden? Would you be able to eat if you had to fish for your supper?
When was the last time you sewed a button on a pair of jeans or even a shirt so you didn't have to throw them away? For that fact how many still know how to sew.
We wonder why we've put on weight, we never have enough time, we don't understand our children and they don't understand us.
Hey, I am all for improvement, but have we improved? Do you know your neighbors? Does anybody remember what a savings account is for instead of a credit card statement? Unity , is my personal opinion of the only way we are going to make it, however it is unfortunate that we have to learn what the definition of that is and how to apply it.
Please meet me on the other side

I hear ya there... great points.
I hope that someday we can get back to our roots a bit more. Otherwise, our lives may be in peril.
Yeah , thats what I'm worried about our lives. Not just mine but everyone around me. People say," Oh well that doesn't effect me." But it does. Am I glad to be able to get a stimulus check this year.....yes and I really need it. BUT...not at the expense of my freedom. Our goverment had to borrow this money they are giving us from China. I probably could have made it without the stimulus. Whats to bad is that our politicians have for so many years been more worried about our vote than our needs. Somebody needs to get up and talk straight. Really get out there and hard sell the position our nation is in and how it affects us... one individual at a time. I started working on this personally after 911. Its took us 3 years to learn how to fish and catch enough to feed ourselves. I grew my first tomato last year that was actually bigger than a cherry tomato. Did I like doing all these things? MMMM NO! But do I like the cost of food in the grocers now either. We don't have to change are lives over night. Start small, before you don't have any time to start small.
We don't own our toll bridges, we don't own a majority of our national monuments, our nation as a whole and individually are up to our eyeballs in debt and all any body wants to do is put a tear in there beer. We as a nation, a community, and as family need to start working together. Ok I will get off my soap box for the night. God loves us. good night
